🚀 Getting Started

  1. Download SpeakEasyVideo from the App Store onto your iPad.
  2. Open the app — you will see the welcome splash screen.
  3. Long-press the splash screen (2 seconds) to open Admin Settings.
  4. Enter your PIN (default is 1234).
  5. Upload your custom splash screen image or video, and your frame overlay if required.
  6. Tap Done — your booth is ready to use.
  7. Hand the iPad to your guests. They tap the screen, record, and the video saves automatically.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Where are recorded videos saved?

Videos are saved automatically to the iPad's Photo Library after each recording. You will find them in the Photos app under Recents.

How do I access Admin Settings?

Long-press anywhere on the splash screen for 2 seconds. Enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted. The default PIN is 1234.

How do I change the splash screen?

Go to Admin Settings → Splash Screen → tap Choose Image or Choose Video. Recommended size is 1536 × 2048 px (portrait).

What is the frame overlay?

The frame overlay is a PNG image with a transparent centre that sits over the camera view and is permanently burned into every saved video. Upload it via Admin Settings → Frame Overlay. Recommended size: 1536 × 2048 px portrait PNG.

How long can a recording be?

Each recording is limited to 90 seconds (1 minute 30 seconds). The app automatically stops and saves when this limit is reached.

The camera isn't showing — what do I do?

Go to your iPad's Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and make sure SpeakEasyVideo is switched on. Also check Microphone in the same section.

How do I change my admin PIN?

Open Admin Settings → scroll down to Change Admin Password → enter your current PIN, then choose a new 4-digit PIN.

How do I restore my subscription after reinstalling?

Open the app — on the subscription screen tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription will be restored using your Apple ID.
